Lubricating the cutting blade on any power cut-out tool improves cutting action. This is so universally accepted that every manufacturer of powered auto glass removal tools recommends using a cutting lubricant. No matter what type you use, from water to a special formula like Equalizer® ECL784 Cutting Lubricant, it will extend the life of the tool, blade or sheath and it also reduces heat and vibration. Most technicians use a trigger sprayer to do the job, however, trigger sprayers simply don’t put out enough fluid. Over the course of a busy day this can cause fatigue from the hundreds of times you must squeeze the spray trigger. Here’s the solution; our 1-1/2 quart Aqualizer holds enough cutting lubricant for an entire day’s worth of removals. The handle incorporates a “lock” position for times when you need to really soak an area.
